    The Minister of Foreign Affairs announces a contest for the best foreign-language publication promoting the history of Poland and the best publication in Polish on the history of Polish diplomacy, published in 2015 and 2016. Historians may submit their works by 15 September 2017.

    The winner of the contest for the best foreign-language publication promoting Poland's history will receive a prize in the amount of 10,000 Euros, and the winner in the category for the best publication on the history of Polish diplomacy 20,000 zlotys.


    The awards will be handed out by the Minister of Foreign Affairs upon the recommendation of the Historical Diplomacy Council.


    The rules for submitting the publications:


    To qualify to participate in the contest, one should submit a publication to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by 15 September 2017.


    The submission should include 3 copies of the publications, including (if possible) published reviews and appraisals.


    Only publications from 2015-2016 are eligible for this year's edition of the contest.


    The publications should be sent to: Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Department of Public and Cultural Diplomacy, Al. J. Ch. Szucha 23, 00-580 Warsaw; with an inscription on the envelope "History Contest of the Foreign Minister"; or delivered to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Al. J. Ch. Szucha 21, Ul. Litewska entrance, between 8:15-16:15 from Monday till Friday.

    The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will not return the publications submitted.
